Snuggle up with a great book this Winter

June is the official start of winter so it's time for snuggling up with a good book. Here's a couple I've read and think you might enjoy.

The Frog Olympics

While we're enjoying the lead up to Rio 2016, here's another great book about the Olympics. This funny story is about frogs coming together from around the world to participate in and celebrate their 'Frog Olympics'. The illustrations are hilarious and I'm sure you'll enjoy it too.

Koala Lou

This week we share a favourite book and author of mine. 

As Koala Lou tries to win the gum-tree climbing event at the Bush Olympics, we learn about feelings and finding solutions to problems. 

Koala Lou also teaches us that knowing we've done our best is more important than winning. 

It's a beautiful story and one I hope you love too.
