When I was little, I only had a few books but I read them over and over and over again. I remember going to Carlingford Library as a pre-schooler and staring overwhelmed by the number of books there.
My primary school only got a library when I was in year 3 - can you imagine that? It was really exciting. I loved picture books then, and they're still my favourite now.
So when you ask me what my top 5 books are? It's tough but...
- Guess how much I love you
- The rainbow fish
- Room on a broom
- The terrible plop
- Thelma the unicorn
You might notice that they're all picture books - I think I love them because I find pictures can be so memorable, often more so than words.
So, I wanted to ask you guys, what's your favourite book?
I can't wait to hear your favourites next time I pop back, maybe we can even look at a couple in class!
